Labor Day 2019 Schedule (& Hurricane Doria Plan)
In observation of Labor Day, Heartland Neurology will be closed Saturday 31 August – Monday 2 September. We are not currently changing our schedule with regards to Hurricane Dorian, and will be in the office on Tuesday 3 August. We will post updates as needed.
Now performing Nerve Conduction Studies and Electromyographies
Heartland Neurology recently purchased a Cadwell SierraSummit EMG/NCV/EP. A nerve conduction study is used to evaluate the function, particularly the conduction, of the motor and sensory nerves in the human body. An Electromyography evaluates and records the electrical activity produced by skeletal muscles. Additionally, our equipment records the temperature during the test, which affects readings, and will make us one of the few AANEM-accredited NCS/EMG practices in south and southwest Florida.
